• Exercise a specialist role in the exploitation of the Tanzu Application Service (TAS) technological infrastructure
• Assume a leadership role to understand and anticipate current trends in his field of expertise and make appropriate recommendations to ensure the development of best practices for the company
• Apply the working methods and processes defined within the team with tools such as Git, Concourse, Terraform, Vault
• Develop the automation of the deployment of a TAS environment on demand
• Develop performance monitoring indicators and methods. Identify issues and make recommendations to the Platform Ops team
• Collaborate in the development and optimization of installation and maintenance procedures
• Diagnose the issues, challenges, needs and problems to be solved in the environments operated by the Platform Ops team

VMWare Tanzu Consultant – Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
• 6+ years of relevant VMWare experience
• 2+ years of Tanzu experience
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts with GitHub (Gitflow, CI/CD)
• Knowledge of IaC practice (infrastructure as code with Terraform) and automatisms for our internal practice
• Good knowledge of Linux and Cloud Foundry
• Knowledge of the Azure environment

VMWare Tanzu Consultant - Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in Agile mode (an asset)
• Knowledge of container virtualization principles (an asset)
