JOB PROFILE:

At the Venturis Group, our people are our most important resource. We are looking for a highly skilled recruiting professional to join the team as our first Talent Acquisition Manager. The Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee the entire recruiting process from sourcing through offer and close. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in recruitment, with a comprehensive knowledge of data mining, screening, interviewing, and innovative hiring practices with research acumen, and the ability to recognize talent in prospective candidates. Key Objectives:

· Build a comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy and related processes to ensure a great candidate experience

· Embodies and encourages the promotion of our Mission, Core Values and Purpose and increase awareness in the importance of seeking and developing these values in others

· Work closely with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Venturis Group’s hiring needs for each position, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations

· Design, plan and execute employer branding activities

· Design, plan and execute selection processes

· Lead the recruiting team and Venturis management to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies

· Develop recruiting dashboard and recruiting metrics and share with key stakeholders

· Oversee the gathering of Experienced Talent Acquisition metrics & analytics

· Monitor Talent Acquisition best practice trends & research

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Work and form relationships with managers to understand business needs and forecast hiring needs and job specifications for vacant roles

· Interact with all levels of colleagues in a way that creates trust and credibility within the company; demonstrates highly effective and persuasive negotiation skills

· Coach and mentor HR talent professionals regarding staff skills development, succession, and resource management

· Make an impact on timely and sound decisions and solutions; take action that is consistent with the best interests of the company

· Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates

· Lead employment branding initiatives

· Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs

· Plan and conduct recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)

· Manage search firm relationships

· Is an ambassador of the Venturis Group; participates in industry practice groups and networks externally for the company

· Recommend ways to improve the employer brand on the company website and in the market

· Support and drive diversity and inclusion efforts in alignment with internal strategy

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or Marketing

· Three (3) to five (5) years recent recruitment experience with a successful track record as a recruiter in a large, high-volume, environment; or, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

· Minimum two (2) years managing a team

· A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) designation would be considered an asset

· Experience in US recruitment would be considered an asset

· Demonstrated achievement in recruiting for hard-to-find resources, including but not limited to trades, sales, IT, finance, accounting and management positions.

· Well defined and proven sourcing methods, high degree of familiarity/proficiency with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn, social media and multiple search engine, job aggregators/propagators, etc.

· Demonstrated competency in working with competing priorities

· Well established relationship management skills – experience in working with and guiding/providing consultative advise to hiring teams within operations

· Strong practical experience with ATS Recruitment Software.

· Strong team-oriented working style

· Track record of bringing new recruiting operating concepts to fruition, active participant in the enhancement of tools, techniques, process and procedures

· Computer literacy, including effective working skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
