Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Summer Marketing and Sales Intern. The selected candidate will work closely with our founder to develop and implement innovative strategies to market and sell our products and services that are designed to reduce small business failure globally. In addition, the intern will play a key role in launching our brand new book, which is aimed at helping small business owners succeed in today's chaotic market. Note that this job is not about creating beautiful content; it's about executing profit-producing activities to drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the founder to develop and execute innovative marketing and sales strategies to promote our products and services aimed at reducing small business failure globally
- Play a key role in launching our brand new book, including coordinating events, securing media coverage, and managing social media campaigns
- Use AI-powered tools to analyze data and develop personalized marketing campaigns that drive sales
- Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and web, to promote both our products and services as well as our upcoming book launch
- Assist with lead generation and sales outreach efforts for both our products/services and the book
- Create sales collateral and presentations to support sales efforts for both our products/services and the book
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and approaches to drive sales growth for both our products/services and the book
- Track and report on sales performance metrics for both our products/services and the book
- Execute profit-producing activities that drive sales, such as creating and executing email campaigns, setting up and managing sales funnels, and optimizing landing pages
- Provide regular feedback to the team on the effectiveness of marketing and sales strategies and suggest areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with business goals and objectives
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in marketing, business, or a related field
- Strong interest in technology and its applications in business, particularly AI
- Proven ability to execute profit-producing activities that drive sales, such as creating and executing email campaigns, setting up and managing sales funnels, and optimizing landing pages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with marketing tools such as Keap, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and social media platforms preferred
- Experience with AI-powered marketing tools and strategies is a plus, but not required.
