The role
We are currently looking forward to welcoming a part-time Student Service Representative(Frontdesk). You will be part of our fantastic team and report directly to the Student Service Care Manager, with a schedule from 8 until 13, Monday to Friday.
You’ll be part of a team of experienced and passionate people who believe in higher education and work hard behind the scenes to help its students thrive in Canada.
Job responsibilities
- Response to telephone, e-mail and in-person inquiries from students and other parties.
- Maintain the reception in a tidy and presentable manner.
- Perform routine clerical duties to support the office team.
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations.
- Answering new student questions about essential campus services
- Conducting workshops and learning sessions about campus services
- Supporting a peer-to-peer network between new students for sharing
- Support different departments in preparing and delivery of online and in-person recruitment events such as information sessions, campus tour, webinar, student fairs, and high school visits
- Assist prospective students with navigating our LMS and provide students with admission-related information such as program, the application process, admission requirements, etc. via a variety of social media channels and in-person
- Work with databases, compiling reports, and other project work as required.
- Answer general questions about student experiences with study abroad and global citizenship.
- Any other duties as assigned by management.
About you
- Education in Sales, Marketing, Internation Business or related field
- 2 or more years’ experience in a Sales or Customer Relations position, preferably in education sector.
- Fluent in Spanish is a must.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience working in multi-cultural environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to new strategies
