We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Parker Store Manager to lead our team in Southwest London. As a leader in the fluid power industry, our Parker Store provides customers with high-quality products and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have a passion for customer service, experience managing a small team, and a strong background in sales and marketing.
This is a full-time, permanent position where you will build strong relationships and support an incredibly diverse mix of industries including agriculture, automotive, food and beverage, construction, and many others.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parker Store, including sales, warehouse management, customer service, and team supervision.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
· Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase business and revenue.
· Train, mentor and motivate employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively in a positive work environment.
· Manage inventory levels and ensure that products are properly stocked and displayed.
· Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that all safety and security protocols are followed.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the business are aligned and working together effectively.
· Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in market conditions to adjust strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the fluid power industry.
· Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a small team effectively.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of industrial hoses, fittings, hydraulics, and pneumatics is preferred, but not required.
· Knowledge of Parker products and services is an asset.
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
