Job Description
As Social Media Manager, you will lead our social media channels to drive exponential growth across Canada and the USA. You will work with your team members to create inspiring content across MaxSold’s media channels while building strong communities. You will have the opportunity to help make downsizing and estate sales easy and simple and save the planet by providing a new lease on life for household items.
Note: This position is a remote (work from home) position and therefore you must meet the minimum IT requirements of High speed internet, minimum speed of 10-15Mbps download and 4-6Mbps upload. If you are unable to meet these requirements, unfortunately, you will not be considered for this role.
What Your Day-To-Day Will Look Like:
In this role, you’ll:
- Gather and showcase our user stories.
- Create inspiring content that builds relationships with both buyers and sellers.
- Quickly respond to inquiries across channels to ensure great experiences.
- Participate in and build online communities for breathing new life into household items rather than purchasing new products.
- Build our community awareness through increasing our followers and interactions across multiple channels.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 2+ years in social media marketing
- Comfortable creating both image and video based posts across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and TikTok.
- Experience with posting software such as Hootsuite and editing software such as Canva.
- Passion for creating inspiring content that users are happy to find.
- Creative leadership, you know how to create a consistent look and feel that people connect with.
- Experience with video and reel creation is an added bonus!
