Job Title: Social Media Manager

Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's social media strategy. They will create and curate engaging content, develop brand awareness, and drive traffic to the company's website and social media channels. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of social media marketing, and content creating, including community management, content creation, and campaign execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to the company's website and social media channels (Instagram, tiktok, facebook, pinterest, twitter, etc.)
  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including written content, photos, and videos.
  • Manage and monitor social media accounts, including responding to comments and messages, monitoring analytics, and adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, PR, and customer service, to align social media activities with overall business goals.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations to improve social media presence.
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns, including paid social media advertising, to promote products or services and increase conversions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers and other relevant social media accounts to increase brand exposure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or related field
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Familiarity with paid social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager or LinkedIn Advertising.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Work Environment:

The Social Media Manager will work primarily remotely, with occasional on site work as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,173.18 per year
