Job Description

· Railcar offload for resin, oil and 20’ oil bladders.

· Shipping trailers and containers to the US, Chile and South Africa.

· Be able to load a truck correctly with weight distribution in mind, safety of goods, inspect and close the truck, for export use/standards.

· Receiving of Coating raw goods including Calcium Carbonate, Antimony Trioxide, Titanium Dioxide, Stabilizer, Stearic Acid, etc. This also includes storing these products and inspecting the products upon receiving.

· Receiving Steel Flatbar.

· Receiving and coordinating Scrim containers to and from Building 3. Unloading and placement of scrim around Plant 1. This includes coordinating with the trucking company we use to ensure the trailer is picked up when weft fills it and returned to building 3 after it is emptied. Filling it with yarn or cores, etc. before sending back to building 3 when required (almost always required).

· Empty bladders and any ISO Tanks for disposal.

· Film and Chunk trailer. This includes loading and keeping inventory of the trailer. Ensuring colours are kept separate when Coating does. Once the trailer is full, send it to be made into regrind.

· Fabric placement from inspection to the slit goods placement on the other side of plant 1.

· Counting raw material goods on a monthly count, Friday Weekly Fabric counts intermittently.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Competent with Microsoft office, excel and outlook.

· Forklifts license and proven experience.

Preferred skills

· Prior shipping experience, as well as some inventory management experience.

· Being able to operate the shop truck (manual transmission) or the telehandler would be considered an asset.

· Great communication and organizational skills is a must.

· Preserving a consistent flow of communication and coordination with different departments and offshore companies.
