What will your typical day look like?

The Senior Learning Specialist will work alongside program managers on leadership development programs designed to accelerate the development of leaders to drive Deloitte Canada’s strategic vision and inspire and empower our people. They will be responsible for end-to-end planning, program management, and delivery of leadership development experiences, preparing reports and communication materials to support learning, and act as the first point of contact for program inquiries.

Learning & Development (L&D) Experience is a centralized team, providing world class learning and development programs and experiences designed to build the best leaders, advance skills and capabilities to be ready for the future and support personal and professional growth throughout the career lifecycle. With an aspiration to become a leadership development “powerhouse”, the L&D Experience team is the face of learning to the business and works to collectively transform how our people, clients and communities learn, build connections, and are inspired through curated experiences.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • 5+ years’ experience in leadership development, learning and development, program management, or related field, as well as bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, human resources, learning/training or leadership development.
  • Ability to coordinate the development and implementation of learning experience programs across multiple stakeholders, including refreshing course materials and communications; building agendas; reviewing program flow; and analyzing program feedback.
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize work demands, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prepare clear and compelling presentation materials and reports
  • A drive for excellence, client service, and making things happen. You can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with vendor and budget management.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge of applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, team collaboration sites, and Zoom, along with the ability to adapt to new applications.
  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, English is required for this position.
