YOUR ROLE

The Aldo Group is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. The position holder will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and data infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with data architects, AI analysts, product owners, quality assurance analysts, and other team members to understand the company's data needs and ensure the quality and efficiency of data pipelines and infrastructure. The position requires in-depth knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies and hands-on experience with CI/CD processes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines to support the Data & Analytics team's needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure for the AI, Data & Analytics team.
  • Work closely with data architects to understand the company's data needs and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Work closely with AI analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Work closely with product owner to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Work closely with quality assurance analysts to ensure that data pipelines are adequately tested and data quality is maintained.
  • Develop and enforce data standards and policies to ensure data quality, security, and consistency.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools for data management.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of data pipelines and data infrastructure.
  • Document data pipelines, data infrastructure, and related processes to ensure traceability and understanding.

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and data infrastructure.
  • Experience working with Redshift and AWS technologies, as well as hands-on experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Experience in developing and enforcing data standards and policies to ensure data quality, security, and consistency.
  • Experience in monitoring and managing the performance of data pipelines and data infrastructure.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment and adapt to technological changes and business needs.
  • Ability to work in both French and English because it will be required for you to engage with local and global trading partners.
