MANAGER, SCHEDULING SERVICES
Nanaimo

Working as part of a dynamic, results-driven team, you provide leadership that fosters a high level of customer service resulting in the efficient, dependable crewing of vessels, shore facilities, and a variety of other client divisions within the region.

Managing a scheduling team, your responsibilities include ensuring vessels and shore facilities are adequately crewed; establishing and interpreting policies and agreements; budget preparation and monitoring; monitoring crew profiles and ship deployment; office systems implementation, and liaising with all levels of staff to provide advice relating to crewing issues.

You have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Human Resources / Labour Relations Management and 5-7 years progressive experience in a large unionized environment. You are proficient with MS Office and adapt easily to other software systems. You are a team leader with excellent managerial skills and you have a strong focus on customer service and corporate objectives.
