Job Description

Full-time administrative assistant needed for a busy downtown family law practice. Main duties include scheduling meetings, sending monthly invoices to clients, general file maintenance, and answering the office phone.

The ideal candidate would have some exposure to family law or the Ontario family court system, and bilingualism is considered an asset.

Other duties include:

- Drafting emails and letters for approval.

- Obtaining information for potential new clients and conducting conflict checks.

- Making deposits at the bank, when needed.

- Following up on client invoice payments.

- Filing forms and documents with the Ottawa Family court.

- Ordering office supplies.

Experience:

- 3+ years of administrative experience.

- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

- College diploma in office administration.

- University degree would be considered an asset.
