Project Manager – Oracle Data Archiving & Purging Project

On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Project Manager to Implement data archiving policies and processes to Archive/retain data that needs to be kept for Oracle EBS database



Project Manager Role Details:

  • Resource Acquisition

  • Confirm Scope, Schedule & Budget

  • Requirements gathering and Current Toolset Evaluation

  • Detailed Business Case (DBC)

  • Initial Implementation plan creation

  • Operationalization Planning

  • RFP and Vendor Selection

  • Vendor Demonstrations

  • System implementation

  • Training and transition to sustainment

Project Manager Mandatory Skills:

  • Must have 3+ years’ experience in data archiving and purging projects.

  • Knowledge of data archiving tools and processes;

  • RFP and vendor management;

  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing and delivering large projects from initiation through to implementation;

  • Demonstrated experience managing project teams, running workshops and presenting to Executives, Business Owners and Stakeholders;

  • Solid understanding of Project Management methodologies;

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;

  • Demonstrated ability to understand problems, find, alternatives and approaches to come up with solutions and takes the initiative to drive a problem to resolution.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive toward results and ensure high-quality standards and complete requirements are met.

Project Manager Desired Skills:

  • Oracle data archiving and purging experience
