Project Manager - Legacy System Update
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Project Manager for a twelve (12) month engagement based in Surrey, British Columbia. This client is pleased to offer a hybrid work model for this role.

Project Manager Job Details
  • The Senior Project Manager will support the migration of a Legacy system with high security vulnerability (CBORD) to a latest CBORD Cloud solution called NetMenu with added modules to reduce security risk, improve functionality and patient experience.
  • Manage the contract negotiation and procurement activities if required
  • FHA Architect engagements
  • Legal Engagement if required
  • Review the current state, engage with all stakeholders
  • Review of all the existing systems that are required to be integrated into the new system.
  • Identify Business, Functional and Technological requirements to fit the goals/directions. Manage and own the requirement documentations
  • PMO deliverables: Status updates, reports, budget tools etc.
  • Integration team engagements
  • Privacy and Security documentation
  • Steering Committee presentations and updates
  • Customization and design of the solution
  • Corporate Engagements if required for contracts, server installations, procurement processes.
  • Training coordination, working on Test Plans in collaboration with the business
  • Responsible for all Project Deliverables
  • Implementation groundwork - planning and leading UAT

Project Manager Mandatory Skills
  • A proven track record managing IMIT projects, preferably within a healthcare environment.
  • Professional Project Management designation (e.g. PMP) or equivalent project management education and experience.
  • Direct knowledge, education, and experience working with information technology systems, including knowledge of standard two and three-tier system architectures.
  • Exceptional English language oral and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Project Manager Nice-To-Have Skills
  • Experience working with Fraser Health or PHSA Technology Services team.
  • Experience implementing Foods Services software

Project Manager Assignment Length
Twelve (12) month contract with the potential for two (2) extensions of six (6) months each.

Project Manager Assignment Location
Office located in Surrey, British Columbia. While consultants may primarily work from home, there may be ad-hoc meetings that require a site presence.
