Seeking an exceptional License Pharmacy Manager in British Columbia. Knowledge of Kroll is preferred. Make up to $90/hour

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacy Manager to join the team at a popular Canadian retail pharmacy chain located in the Okanagan Valley of the Southern Interior of British Columbia.

The shift dates & times are as follows:

The contract duration is 6 months to 1 year, starting on August 25th.

Shift Times: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm

The successful candidate should have experience working with Kroll system. Pharmacy assistant support will be given. Experience dispensing methadone is not required.

Roles and Responsibility
Managing the pharmacy's operations: The pharmacy manager is responsible for ensuring that the pharmacy runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing inventory, ordering medication and supplies, and overseeing the dispensing of medications.
Supervising staff: The pharmacy manager is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and other support staff. They are also responsible for managing staff schedules and ensuring that staff adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with regulations: The pharmacy manager is responsible for ensuring that the pharmacy is in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to the dispensing of controlled substances, record-keeping, and patient privacy
Providing patient care: The pharmacy manager plays an important role in ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care possible. This may involve counseling patients on medications, ensuring that patients receive the correct dosage and medication, and answering any questions patients may have

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
  • Injection Certification is an asset, but is not required
  • Experience with pharmacy computer systems, specifically x.
  • A minimum of two-year experience in a busy pharmacy setting is considered a strong asset
  • High level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills
