We are looking for a pharmacist who can handle a busy and fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. The potential candidate must be flexible with their hours as well. In addition, we need someone who can work with the Healthwatch pharmacy software system, as this is a busy pharmacy. There will also be pharmacy assistants to help throughout your shifts. The compensation for this travel assignment is $75/hour + mileage will be paid for ($0.50/km).
Shift dates and times:
July 1 – August 31 (5 shifts per week)
8 AM - 10 PM

Your expected duties as a pharmacist may include:
- Dispensing and preparing medications for patients based on prescriptions
- Provide medication counselling to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Monitor patient health and medication therapy outcomes.
- Manage pharmacy technicians and assistants.
- Order and manage inventory of medications and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Possess a degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution
- Hold a valid pharmacist license in the same province of employment
- Good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
- Minimum, 1-year experience working in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Healthwatch software experience is mandatory
