TITLE: LONG HAUL TRUCK DRIVER

LOCATION: 111 LARRY VICKAR DR E. WINNIPEG, MANITOBA R3W 0J9
TERM: FULL TIME, PERMANENT, 50 HOURS A WEEK
SALARY: $24.00 PER HOUR
We are currently looking for 4 Long Haul Truck Drivers to work at our company located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Only candidates who have eligibility to work in Canada will be qualified.
The duties and abilities required are listed as follows:
· Load and Unload goods;
· Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy;
· Perform pre-trip, en route and post trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle documentation knowledge accident or incident reports, Trans-border documentation, Driver logbook;
· Bill of lading weight handling up to 9 kg (20lbs);
· Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment;
· Perform preventive maintenance, perform emergency roadside repairs, pay and receive payments for goods, perform brake adjustments;
· Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes and other equipment;
· Must be able to read, write and communicate in English efficiently;
· Security and Safety Driver’s license check and Driver’s license abstract;
· Willing to travel for extended periods and willing to travel across borders.
EDUCATION: Completion of Secondary education or equivalent experience and must have Class 1/1 F/A License (semi-trailer trucks)
EXPERIENCE: No experience needed but having at least 6 to 12 months experience is an asset.
