About The Role

Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, the Information Technology Manager will be responsible for overseeing the management of all corporate IT activities as well as resolving escalated issues, emphasizing exceptional relationship building skills with both internal customers and external vendors. The Information Technology Manager will also be responsisble for providing strong corporate leadership and strategic direction to contribute to Thentia’s success.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement additions, deletions and major modifications to support infrastructure company‐wide, in coordination with the Chief Operating Officer
  • Assist with the implementation of network security at the corporate level
  • Plan and anticipate for future network needs while identifying proactive solutions
  • Oversee the planning and management of the company’s mobility and telephone system in coordination with the BUS
  • Manage and oversee all IT-related purchasing and budgeting usage while collaborating with the Chief Operating Officer and Accounts Payable to align with corporate budgets
  • Ensure the department is kept well informed of any chances or high impact events within the organization
  • Effectively communicate relevant IT information and insights to the Senior Leadership team as well as lend expertise to internal teams
  • Manage difficult personnel situations directly through appropriate discretion, collaboration with HR and respect to the individual
  • Action staff coordination to ensure new operational plans, policies, procedures, and transition/migration plans are consistent with overall company goals and objectives
  • Manage IT staffing and budgeting projections on a company-wide basis
  • Enforce and communicate standard company policies and procedures
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology within a distributed environment, with a minimum of 5 years in people leadership
  • Exceptional skill, understanding and expertise in basic network, hardware management, software installation and configuration
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven success advising senior/executive leadership
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills collaborating with internal customers as well as external vendors
  • Highly detail-oriented and well organized with the ability to work without supervision
