Summary
BYU Design is one of Canada’s most prestigious interior design firms. Since 2003, BYU has been bringing together passionate and creative interior designers to deliver world-class work. Over the past two decades, BYU has earned a reputation for quality and is highly trusted by some of the largest developers in the lower mainland. As our team and business continues to grow, so do our studio needs. We are looking for a full-time Intermediate Designer to join us immediately!
You will be joining an established team of professional, talented and passionate interior designers. Our team approach is design without ego, with realistic approaches for the best outcome for our clients. As a designer who thrives with keeping busy on several projects, you’ll fit right into our collaborative and team based approach to working. And you will love the opportunities for growth we provide!
You may not have past experience in multi-unit residential interior design (however if you do, fantastic!), but your proven experience using Part 3 of the BC Building Code will get you right up to speed in no time.
If you love dogs this is the place for you – our office is dog friendly! We also offer fun perks like a special treat for your birthday, co-pay medical and dental, more than average vacation pay and more!
This position is full-time and BYU presently has a hybrid work model in place with employees able to balance working partly in-studio and in-home.
