Reporting to the Innovation Manager, the Innovation Co-op will participate in initiatives to continuously launch and test new ideas, platforms, and solutions to generate innovation within Sun Life’s Insurance Solutions. You will be part of an agile team dedicated to proving, advancing and evolving innovative concepts through a range of test and learn prototypes and hands-on solutions work. You will also work with team members to analyze and integrate client and advisor data to derive insights and drive new solution ideas.
Your role will include planning and coordinating client and advisor brainstorming and co-creation events, collecting and evaluating feedback, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and supporting the development of new solution pilots. We are looking for a quick learner who feels comfortable in a fast-pasted environment and is a team player at heart.
What will you do?
Participate in client and advisor discovery sessions to collect and synthesize findings
Assist with the advancement of innovative concepts through a range of test and learn prototypes and hands-on solutions work
Support design research activities to define customer pain points and assist with the creation of journey maps outlining ideal future experiences
Conduct research on various topics relating to life insurance and health
Conduct, interpret and visualize analytical analysis
Design presentations with the intent of telling a compelling story for the particular client segment

Experience that would be nice to have:
Experience with human centric design, design thinking and agile methodology
Experience in life insurance/wealth management, or other financial services industry (e.g., retail banking, credit card, property and casualty insurance)

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance
