Linhan Design is a boutique size design firm that you can work in a fun and friendly studio environment. We are currently looking for a talented, motivated and creative experienced Designer with a passion for construction, design, and customer service, to work on full-time basis.

Description of Duties:

· Preparation of materials takeoffs for the projects Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers to deliver design documentation

· Prepare documentation, Interior specification packages and design plans Liaise with the Design, Sales and Production departments, on a regular basis to coordinate designs, strategize and build relationships with current and new suppliers.

· Assisting clients through the material selection process.Use skill in interior design to help the client choose colour, material, and layout of interior finishes.

· Budget and schedule management.Understanding working drawings.

· Creating a construction documentation package to be used throughout the project.

· Material take-offs from floor plans.

· Analysis of specifications for material and fixture selections.

· Handling selection issues.

· Coordinating sub-trades and suppliers.

· Inspecting quality of work and project progress.

· Some travel between job sites.

· Providing excellent customer service.

· Speaking with potential clients at trade show events.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
