Job Description

We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dental family. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Dentists with all aspects of the patient care. Primary responsibilities include: welcoming patients, preparing the treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking and developing x-rays, and preparing instruments and medications for use. Front desk duties will be trained for.

Our candidate should be friendly, energenic, outgoing, and focus on providing excellent care to our dental patients. A strong command of the English language is also needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dental materials and equipment.
• Sterilization of equipment and tools
• Take digital radiographs
• Communicate orally with customers and dental staff members.
• Use appropriate dental tools and technologies and perform basic procedures.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• East York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
