Job Description

Full time care giver required for high functioning 26 year old male with Cerebral Palsy.

Schedule will be 12:00 to 6:00 pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday, and 9:30 am to 6:00 pm Wednesday and Thursday, 35 hours / week. Schedule may be subject to change and will be scheduled well in advance. Weekend or additional shifts may be available occasionally. You will be working at a personal residence in Grande Prairie. Duties include; assisting with dressing, feeding, bathing, shaving, toileting, giving medication as well as assisting with laundry and light cleaning. Preference will given to those with a Health Care Aide certificate or previous experience as a care giver. An Alberta class 5 drivers license would be preferred but is not required. Applicants must be fluent in English, with the ability to read, write and easily communicate.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Health Care Aide Certificate (preferred)
• Class 5 Alberta Drivers License (preferred)
