Job Description

Business Analyst


The Business Analyst(s) will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the optimal configuration and use of Operations systems and processes, participating in, leading projects, solving problems, and acting as a sparring partner for internal departments, in order to ensure high quality standards and continuous optimization of Operations systems and processes.


Day to Day

  • Facilitate the process optimization process by eliciting requirements in one-on-one & small group discussions and leading larger workshops and documenting the results.
  • Work closely with OpX Manager, Product Owners, Project Managers, Stakeholders, and Development Teams to define and document requirements, scope, systems functions, processes, challenges and opportunities to successfully implement solutions for complex projects
  • Assist in creating, refining and documenting user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Assisting business stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of project artifacts and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Providing post-implementation support to measure and ensure project benefits were realized
  • Report on critical project/operational KPIs
  • Facilitating business requirement walkthrough meetings and partnering with the business on functional specification reviews
  • Independently manage projects of light complexity from initiation to implementation
  • Continuously contribute to improving the team’s processes

Essentials

  • Education: University level preferred
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Experience of working in various project management methodologies waterfall, agile etc.
  • 2+ years of working in agile teams
  • Knowledge of Agile/SAFe framework
  • Scrum certifications nice to have
  • Previous work experience in equipment leasing is a nice to have
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Visio, Excel, Advanced PowerPoint, and Presentation skills
  • Must be self-motivated, customer focused and able to consistently make decisions based on long term objectives
  • Candidate must possess excellent written communication skills (technical emphasis preferred) with attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to details and quality of work
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
