Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cannabis Account Manager to join our team in Western Canada. As the Independent Cannabis Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, increasing market share, and managing the profitability of independent accounts while also managing and executing trade initiatives.

Responsibilities:

· Focuses on regional customers to maintain and grow the sales portfolio for the region
· Collaborates with the team to align market strategies with applicable business objectives for the portfolio
· Uses relevant data to build useful and measurable insights that can enable fact-based selling
· Grow volume, distribution, market share, and deliver sales plan
· An expert on, their business, competition, and key drivers related to our core portfolio going above and beyond to understand the needs of our customers
· Measure and track the profitability/ROI of assigned independent accounts. Identify areas where costs can be reduced or where pricing strategies can be adjusted
· Perform product knowledge sessions and pop-up events within assigned independent accounts
· Deliver monthly reporting of sales, distribution, market share, ROI, and competitive intelligence
· Prepare accurate invoices

Skills & Qualifications:

· 3+ years of experience in sales, account management or business development within the cannabis industry
· A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and increasing market share
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data and identify trends
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
· Willingness to travel within Western Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $60,000.00 per year
